of the Late Ming, Transitional and Kangxi Periods

Qianlong Period

Qianlong porcelain was produced during the Qian Dynasty (1735-1796). The grandson of Emperor Kangxi, the Qianlong Emperor supported the arts, which flourished under his reign, as can be seen from the beautiful porcelain of the time period. He was an avid collector of ceramics, and a large portion of his private collection is housed in London.
